Beautiful Pewter bowl by Mabos with Brass details in an organic pattern. Mabos was associated with Firma Svenskt Tenn in the early days when Estrid Ericson founded the design company. Mabos manufactured high quality pewter items that were sold via Svenskt Tenn. This item is engraved with the year 1940 (see photo). Beautiful piece that shows the elegant design and modern vision of Firma Svenskt Tenn. The pewter has age appropriate patina and edge is slightly uneven. Overall in a good vintage condition.
